Role overview
We are seeking an experienced Formwork Carpenter to join a large-scale concrete project in the Netherlands. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out formwork and shuttering activities, working from drawings and specifications to prepare and construct formwork for concrete structures while maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety. This is a long-term self-employed contract on a major construction project, with accommodation provided for the successful applicant.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Formwork Carpenter on large-scale concrete or construction projects Experience with formwork, shuttering and concrete structures Ability to read and work from technical drawings and project specifications Relevant trade qualifications or certification Valid A1 certificate/status for working in the Netherlands Valid VCA certificate or equivalent Self-employed or operating through your own Limited Company Professional and health insurance appropriate for the work Basic English communication skills Own suitable PPE Own required tools Ability to meet all project and site requirements Important: Applicants must be able to provide evidence of all required qualifications, certifications, insurance and right-to-work documentation.
