Role overview

We are seeking experienced Steel Fixers to join a large-scale concrete project in the Netherlands. The successful candidates will be responsible for the installation, positioning and securing of steel reinforcement in accordance with project drawings and specifications, supporting the construction of concrete structures while maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety. This is a long-term self-employed contract on a major construction project, with accommodation provided for the successful applicant.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Steel Fixer on large-scale concrete or construction projects Experience installing and securing steel reinforcement Ability to read and work from technical drawings and project specifications Relevant trade qualifications or certification Valid A1 certificate/status for working in the Netherlands Valid VCA certificate or equivalent Self-employed or operating through your own Limited Company Professional and health insurance appropriate for the work Basic English communication skills Own suitable PPE Own required tools Ability to meet all project and site requirements Important: Applicants must be able to provide evidence of all required qualifications, certifications, insurance and right-to-work documentation.
